Workstation Ergonomics and Exercise CD-ROM |
| Project
Description:
This is a CD-ROM project that I worked on
at Touchscreen Media Group. The CD was built
for individuals who stand or sit at computer
workstations all day. The program features
a 3D mannequin character that shows users
how to set up their workstations, correct
body postures, and simple exercises that
can help alleviate common aches and pains.
There's a workstation building application
that lets users drag and drop items onto
their desk and explains to them how things
should be arranged.
Role:
My role in
this project was to create the 3D animations
and elements required for the CD. I also
worked on the production team that created
the interface and navigational graphics.
Applications:
I used 3DS MAX to create the 3D environments
and character animations and Poser for the
character models. The textures maps were
created in Photoshop. The video clips were
assembled and compressed with Premiere.
