Project Description: MDEdge.com is a provider of technology-enabled medical communications. MDEdge offers personalized medical information, professional and consumer news, comprehensive clinical reference materials, proprietary clinical presentations delivered in Flash, and a range of paid marketing research and consulting opportunities to physicians.

Role: My Role at MDEdge was to manage the graphic work for the web site and flash presentations. I created a templated production process that enabled us to create the presentations in a short time frame.

The presentations play with and without audio and they were designed to play on slow dail-up modems as well as high bandwidth connections. The presentaions also work well in Internet Explorer, Netscape and Aol on both PC and Mac machines.

Each Presentation's content is read from an external file allowing non-flash users the ablity to edit the content without opening Flash source files. All the content is also indexed in XML files for the search engine.

Applications: The primary application I used was Flash. I also used Photoshop and Illustrator to make presentation and site graphics.
