Project Description: This kiosk was created by Touchscreen Media Group in 2000 for GreenPoint Bank. Visitors to the kiosks, placed strategically inside 30 New York area bank branches, are greeted by an on-screen hostess who gently leads the user through a video demonstration of OnePoint Internet Banking. The kiosks also include several full-screen video segments with everyday people explaining the practical benefits of online banking in English, Mandarin and Spanish.

Role: My role in this project was to lead the capture and compression process for the video footage. I also worked closely with the Director programmers to ensure the video was able to play back full-screen.

Applications: I used the Targa 2000 card in conjunction with Premiere to capture the video, and the Truemotion codec to compress the video. I adjusted the vectorscope levels to get the highest quality video capture from the Beta deck.
